2012 Kidding Recap

We have had four perfect kiddings so far, and I know the pictures are long overdue.

First, Minny had twins at the beginning of March.  A boy and girl:

They have both gone (together!) to a new home in Connecticut.

Next up was KABAJ, who had twin girls (way to go KABAJ!!).  One of KABAJ’s girls, Chia, will be staying at Tangled Roots farm as a new addition to our herd.  The other twin is heading to another great farm in Tinmouth, VT.  Check for updates on her at: http://www.breezymeadowsorchards.com.  The girls new game is to jump into the hay feeder and tap dance on the hay.

Barnum had a presumably quick and effortless birth as we checked in one afternoon to find a brand-new healthy little boy.  Barnum has since proved herself to be my top milker!

Princess Caspian held out for two days longer than we thought she possibly could and subsequently had a gigantic boy (who looks EXACTLY like Caspian) and a smaller girl (black with little tan socks).  She is a spectacular mother and everyone around here is wishing we could keep this little girl!

Fluffhead is due at the end of the month and we’re hoping she rounds out a very successful kidding season.  Come visit the kids!
